When a large supermarket anchor tenant moved out of this East Rand shopping centre, instead of replacing them with the same established commercial model, the property management decided to look at alternative retail typologies.

This indoor market pulls small retail and food vender tenants together around a central entertainment space. The vision was to create a series of loosely connected gathering spaces with strong focal points to help orientate people in the space.
